Electricity is a necessary thing that people need today. Years ago, it was an option, but today it is a must. Home solar energy is one way that you can power your home and empower yourself. What we mean by this is, you can put a solar power system in your home and cut out that high utility bills and at the same time, empower yourself. You can have complete power on the energy that your home is using, without having to pay out all that money to the utility company every month. So what is solar energy? Solar energy is energy radiated from the suns rays. When the sun connects with the connector it generates electricity. All you need to do is set up the solar power system and you will soon see changes in your bill and maybe be able to cut out the power that you are receiving the utility company all together.

Before you can get started on setting up your house with home solar energy, you will need to do a few things.

• First of all you will need to calculate how much electricity that you use every day, in other words how much wattage that you use.
• The next step is to think about the area that you reside in.
• How much sunlight is there every day?
• How much rainfall does the area get?

All of these things are important in determining how much solar power you will need and how big of a system will be required.

When you have got all of these things done and you are ready to proceed it is time to decide if you are going to install the solar power system yourself or have someone install it. If you decide that you are going to do it yourself, here are some of the things that you will need to build your home solar system.

• You will need a connector. A connector is solar panels. Solar panels are what the suns rays connect with and change it into energy.
• You will need a mount to put the connectors on. This can go in your yard or the mount could be the roof of your house.
• An inverter is needed also. An inverter changes 12-volt DC power into 110 volt AC power.
• You will also need a fuse box or a circuit breaker.
